BACKGROUND OF THE COLLEGE

The school was founded in the Shinjuku area in Tokyo in 1980 by a principal who has worked in a Japanese f1rm in the USA and, as a businessman in the age of globalisation, served as one of the managers of a US-Japan joint venture. In 1989 a new school building was constructed at the present location. In 1992 the school acquired the status of a professional training college from the Tokyo metropolitan government and adopted the current name. A semester leaning system is promoted allowing admission in April (spring semester) and in October (fall semester).

In accordance with the above educational principle, the college has acquired ample experience in accepting foreign student and created a fine environment for studying since 1986.

The record of employment and advancement to higher level of education for foreign graduates of our college in the past l7 years has been as follows: 179 have entered Japanese companies (having acquired a working visa), and 162 have succeeded in enrolling in Japanese universities or postgraduate schools.

AvaiJabiJity of a wide range of courses and training tools for dialogue instruction

In addition to the provision of classroom instruction, we offer our students personal guidance in accordance with their ability by using computer training tools for dialogue instruction. We also offer plenty of elective courses in CG, web design and animation.

Time table which allows for work and scholarships

The college runs a two-shift system of lectures, which enables students to study for a half of the day and work the other half. The college implements its own system for rewarding essays and giving incentives to excellent students through which students may be exempted from paying the school fees.

2-4 year courses specializing in lnformation Technology

Department of Multimedia (4 years) (Conferring the "advanced diploma" and qualifications necessary for entering graduate schools)
Major in CG and Web Design - We train experts in multimedia such as DTP design, web creation etc.
Major in Digital Information Instruction - We train experts in IT with a good command of advanced IT technology and systematic knowledge
Department of Information Technology (2 years) (Conferring the "diploma")
Major in Information Systems - We train system engineers and advance level programmers by equipping them with sophisticated skills in information processing.
Major in lnternational Information Business - We train experts in international business such as secretaries in the field of trade or information technology, who can answer the needs of the highly globalized society of today. After graduating, it is possible to find employment at companies in Japan as well as at Japanese companies in home countries.
Two to four years Step-up courses
There is a system of further enrolment whereby students may, upon completing a two years course, proceed to a one year Multimedia Research Department or the third year of the MuLtimedia Department, and thereby study for a total of three or four years.
